Style Challenge: Small Floral Prints

Seeing someone else wearing your clothes can sometimes be scary.  Like, for example, when I was at the airport a few weeks ago and I saw an old French woman wearing this J.Crew shirt.  MY J.CREW SHIRT!!!!  I thought, "OH GOD! Do I look like an old granny when I wear that shirt???"  My husband reassured me that I don't, but still...I didn't realize how hard it was to pull off tiny prints without looking ancient!  Anyone out there want to share your personal struggles with itty bitty florals so that I don't feel so alone???

Shirt: Liberty of London for J.Crew  //  Dress: Banana Republic  //  Necklace: Kate Spade (old, but similar here)  //  Shoes: J.Crew (old, but similar here)  //  Sunglasses: Steve Madden (old, but similar here)

  1. Definitely not an old lady blouse! The bright colors are perfectly youthful and fresh. I've never given much thought to the size of prints indicating age, but it just so happens I don't own a lot of tiny floral prints, so maybe there is something to it. If I did think something I owned was old lady'ish, it wouldn't bother me a bit. The last time I flew, there was an old woman at the airport dressed entirely in Lilly Pulitzer pieces, and I was completely jealous of how amazing she looked.

    1. Good point!!! I'm so glad you said that, I've seen some amazingly stylish old ladies myself!

  2. You have such an absolutely funny and flawless style, just loving a lot! Thanks for your visit, I'm now following you on bloglovin dear.
